The wines and winemakers of Casablanca Valley, Chile, came to Puro Chile in Manhattan today. The event was led by Chilean wine writer, Patricio Tapia. Patricio explained that the Casablanca Valley is a cool-climate area, west of Santiago, that includes a cooler coastal area near the Pacific Ocean, and a warmer elevated region about 20 miles inland from the sea.
