The valley became known for this vine-stock and nowadays it is the vine-stock with greatest surface in Casablanca. The first Chardonnay Premium of Chile, Amelia de Concha y Toro, was born precisely in this place years ago. Currently, there are several Casablanca Chardonnays which achieved the first places of the best Chilean wine guides and which have received important awards in Chile and abroad.
